Chalet Altenhaus - Grindelwald

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Mitarbeiter sind hilfsbereit und bemühen sich, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Poolbereich wird besonders sauber gehalten. Es gibt immer genügend frische Handtücher und die Betten werden täglich gemacht. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Location was magnificent, not very far from The Wetterhorn. Beds were comfortable. Helpful and kind employees, I loved that.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being close to everything and right in the center of town. It was also very convenient as it was located almost next to the train station, making it easy to get around. the view from the property was breathtaking, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. the room had a mini kitchen and a porch that faced the Eiger, providing a cozy and comfortable stay.

The pillows provided were very flat and uncomfortable to sleep on.

We would have appreciated some larger bowls and hot cups, as well as a bread knife. the lighting in the chalet could have been stronger.

The location of this accommodation is extremely convenient, being just across the train station. You can easily access it within 1-2 minutes of walking. the room itself was comfortable and cozy, with a nice balcony to enjoy the view. the staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.

It would have been better if there were more amenities provided in the bathroom, such as soap, shampoo, and moisturizer.

We had a fantastic stay at the Chalet Altenhaus for a week. The studio was well-equipped with all the essentials, allowing us to cook our own meals and save on eating out. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, and the location, just 2 minutes away from the station, was perfect. Barbara, the staff member who greeted us, was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable tips on local walks. The shower had great water pressure, and we loved the welcome gift. a great value for money stay with wonderful amenities.

Can definitely recommend this hotel.
